Transaction Communications are used to deliver important information to you related to transactions which you initiate. Examples include confirming your account creation, resetting your password, confirming event registration, reminding you of an event for which you’ve registered, etc. You cannot opt out of Transactional Communications, because you initiated the transaction. However, you may discontinue use of the Service or delete your account using the Delete my account link at the bottom of https://jobfairsnearme.com/profile.
Typically, when you register to attend an event, we send you a confirmation and a reminder message. Confirmations are sent in real-time, and reminders are typically sent the day prior to the event. Both types of messages may be delivered via browser, email and SMS (text message). If there is a material change to an event, we may send you additional messages to communicate the change.
Marketing Communications-
Marketing Communications are used to deliver information to you which we believe will assist you in your employment search and related activities. Examples include alerting you of other nearby job fairs, or new features added to the Service. Marketing Communications may be delivered by browser, email and SMS (text message). You may opt out of Marketing Communications at any time. To opt out of marketing email messages, simply click the “Unsubscribe” link in the message itself. To opt out of marketing SMS (text) messages, reply to the unwanted message with the “STOP” command.
Email Alerts-
By registering for email event alerts, you consent to receive Transactional Communications from JobFairsNearMe (i.e. alerts of the events meeting the criteria you set). You may deactivate an email alert at any time using the link in the message itself.
Posting Events-
When you post an event listing on JobFairsNearMe.com, you certify that the following conditions are true:
