The Purple Store Would Love Some Seasonal Help! Great, fun job for the those who fit this description.... (Please read the info before sending your note and resume.)

Our business has grown a ton and makes people happy every day all over the world. We love working at a place where customers' eyes light up when the walk in the door and that routinely gets fan mail from its customers. We need some sharp people to come in and help us get through the busy holiday season.

THREE OPTIONS:

Option 1: Retail Sales Team (seasonal, possibly continuing)
If you're great at retail or think you have that sales knack, understand that customers are our guests and friends, not our "targets," and work quickly and calmly in a busy environment, we can use help in our storefront.

Option 2: Shipping and Light Warehouse (seasonal)
Picking and packing orders for our website, helping with inventory, and reorganizing a bit.

Option 3: A bit of both?

If things line up, there's always a chance we could have you stay longer or return at other busy times.

We're looking for part time help from 15 to 30 hours a week, possibly 40 hours in busiest weeks if you prefer that.

We're Looking For...

...smart people.

...natural organizational skills and attention to detail.

...mad work ethic to get things done, people who take it upon themselves to make sure everything is working as it should.

...reliability, 100% trustworthiness, and integrity. Dyed hair okay, fried brains not.

...a cool head when things get busy.

...ability to move boxes around here and there, including a few heavy ones.

...for the storefront, complete outgoing comfort talking to customers. We are never pushy on sales but we want staff who are friendly, confident, and glad to greet customers.

...great personality to get along with people and have fun while working hard

...humility to realize that we're a small business and that means sometimes we're the ones sweeping up or taking out the recycling, etc.

Being a purple fan is nice but definitely not required. Job skills and awesome personality are much more important to us.

- Location: Pike Place Market (92 Stewart Street). Near a ton of buses and light rail.

- We've seen better results for all involved with staff who live at least relatively close by and aren't driving long distances to work here; please consider this.

- Compensation: $14.50-16.00 per hour depending on experience. Store discounts available.
