We enforce Federal and District of Columbia laws and regulations. We provide a full range of police services and specialty units, including: Dignitary Protection Residential Security Protective Intelligence K-9 Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Liaison roles with FBI, JTTF, DHS, USCP, etc. Instructors: Firearms, Driving, Defensive Tactics Qualifications To be eligible, applicants must be: U.S. Citizen. Within six months of turning 21 years of age, but not yet 39 years of age. Age exception: Applicants over the age of 39 currently covered under the FERS law enforcement retirement (6c). See 5 U.S. Code 8425(d). An applicant's education or experience must include one of the following: Three years of work history; or An Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution (or being within six months of graduation); or Three years of active duty military service; or One year of full-time experience as a sworn police officer, including military police and similar roles.
