FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Exhibitor FAQs
How many people should we send?
We recommend you send a hiring manager and/or HR representative who can answer questions about your open positions, potential future hiring, and the types of jobs you typically have available in general. Only one representative is necessary to successfully participate in this event. If you are actively hiring several positions, we recommend sending two for increased efficiency at your table (as you will likely have a line). Note: Limit one table per company.
What can I bring into the event?
Bring any relevant company marketing materials, HR hiring/recruiting info, company SWAG, and/or anything related. You are not required to bring any materials, though many of the other exhibiting companies will.
Will I have an assigned table?
No, tables will be first come, first served. We advise arriving around 10:15 to set up.
What type of career event is this?
This career fair is intended to be a networking and career exploration event – not necessarily a hiring event. You will not be required to hold interviews on the spot or even have open positions in order to attend. Our goal is to give job seekers exposure to your organizations and, hopefully, help you secure great, solar-interested candidates for your open positions now and in the future.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can direct questions to Megan Howes at [email protected] or [email protected]

Job Seeker/Student FAQ’s
What should I bring?
We recommend you bring your resume and dress in professional attire. Pro tip: We also recommend you bring a list of questions to ask each company, this will help you compare notes on them afterward, across equal categories.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You are not required to as we will have your name on the attendee list. On-site registration is also allowed, so in the event of a system issue, you will absolutely still be admitted!
Are there any costs?
None! This event, is completely FREE!
How many companies are expected to attend?
We anticipate about 10- 15 companies will be in attendance. You will receive an email with all of the companies that attended after the show for your networking purposes.
What other career resources do you offer?
The sponsor of this event, “Solar Training Network” is a Department of Energy solar workforce development program administered by The Solar Foundation. Solar Training Network produces original industry resources, and maintains an online career development and networking platform designed specifically to help people find jobs in the solar industry!  We HIGHLY recommend registering for free on americansolarworkforce.org and expand your solar network.
