With over 40,000 jobs being created in Austin in 2018 and unemployment sitting at a decades low of 2.6%, companies face increase competition for diverse talent. To stay competitive and ahead of industry trends, businesses need diverse talent that’ll integrate with company culture, while bringing different skills and perspectives to the team.
In order to overcome these challenges, the Austin Urban Technology Movement and Harlem Labs have partnered with local institutions and organizations to host ReThink Austin 2019 and bridge the gap between the Black and Brown communities and technology companies.
