Hiring on the spot for the following positions below.

Foreman
o Performs condition assessment of pavements, signs, guardrails, tunnels, bridges, vegetation and other contract infrastructure and assets. Schedules and coordinate work to be performed. Assist with roadway characteristics through RCI inventory.
o Assists the Project Manager or Project Superintendent to determine the best approach (self-performance or sub-contract) for bringing assets into contract compliance considering cost, timelines and efficiency. Plans and coordinates work plan schedules.
o Inspects in-process and completed work to insure compliance with contract requirements
o Supervisory responsibility including the selection, development and performance management of maintenance crews. Facilitates all required new hire training and ongoing required safety and work standard training.
o Responds to incident emergencies, day or night and coordinates work of on-site responders. Reports accident/injury (actual and near misses).
o Assists in the inspection, and control of PHH fleet management system. Manage, monitor and control highway project assets and materials.
o Identifies opportunities for changes and improvements in work methods, processes, efficiency and cost reduction.
o Create and manage successful completion of all work orders.
o Must have CDL License
o Must be able to maintain communications with supervisors of job status and current assigned responsibilities.
o Must have basic computer skills
o Able to operate the aerial bundle extractor and have extensive exchanger, torqueing and rigging experience.
o Avoids legal challenges by complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
o Must have minimum of HS Diploma
o Must be able to pass drug screen & MVR check
o Pay Range is $ 21.00 - 22.00 per hour.

Electrician

o Electrician is a craftsman and must have a good working understanding of the National Electrical Code.
o Should be well versed in conduit installation, motor control circuitry, switch gear maintenance and cable termination.
o Know how to read and interpret electrical prints and schematic drawings.
o Will be working with low and medium voltages safely utilizing the proper test and measurement equipment.
o Should be able to estimate costs and order materials. Must be qualified to drive/operate a trucks, and respirator fitted, if applicable to the job.
o This role may have to work on high ladders, and in confined spaces.
o Must be reliable--daily attendance for scheduled work is mandatory.
o Must be capable of identifying, utilizing and operating tools and equipment associated with craft discipline.
o Operate mobile motorized vehicles and motorized equipment, as required and trained.
o Must demonstrate the ability to comprehend and recognize all job related work permits and complete Job Hazard Analysis.
o Must have minimum of HS Diploma
o Must be able to pass drug screen & MVR check
o Pay Range is $ 19.00 - 22.00 per hour.

Maintenance Technician / Road Laborer

o Maintain and repair highway and other surfaces including potholes, striping, adding or replacing reflectors.
o Creates safe traffic control by setup and removal of traffic control devices including cones, message/arrow boards, temporary signage, etc.
o Maintains clean appearance of highways and medians through litter and debris removal and disposal (may use litter claw or other device).
o Repairs/maintains functionality of slopes, berms, culverts, drains, etc. through use of shovels and other hand or power tools and equipment
o Controls vegetation appearance and growth through use of lawn mowing equipment, hand or power trimmers, and chemical sprayers and other methods.
o Maintains the appearance and functionality of signs, guardrails, fence, and lighting through repair and/or replacement using hand or power tools.
o Keep roadways free of debris including ice and snow by using snow removal and/or sanding equipment
o Transports crew and equipment to work sites operating vehicle pickup trucks and specialized motor vehicles
o CDL License highly preferred
o Must have minimum of HS Diploma
o Must be able to pass drug screen & MVR check
o Pay Range is $ 10.00 - 12.00 per hour, depending on experience
