Bates Technical College, Sound Outreach and WorkSource Pierce are sponsoring the PIERCE COUNTY JOB EXPO on June 26th from 3 PM to 7 PM.  
The Pierce County Job Expo is going to be next Wednesday! Over 30 employers and 10+ apprenticeship opportunities will be in attendance. Many of these employers have opportunities that pay a living wage, or opportunities that can lead to a living wage. The fields include healthcare, construction, apprenticeships/trades, tech, public defense and public administration. This JOB FAIR is FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC. This is a great opportunity for you to recharge your career.
*UPDATE* We have just received confirmation that there will be on the spot interviews and contingent offers. Some of the employers include General Plastics, Valley Cities, and Goodwill (assistant managerial/managerial openings). There are other employers who will be doing on the spot hires.
The Laborers 252 Union will be hosting sessions on how to enroll in the Laborers and to get to work on the Sound Transit project. Sessions will be at 03:15 p.m. 04:00 p.m., 04:45 p.m. 05:30 p.m. 06:15 p.m.
