CareerForce Cottage Grove is hosting a Career Fair & Launch from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 13000 Ravine Parkway S. in Cottage Grove. The public is welcome to meet and connect with 18 employers about employment opportunities and internships. There will be more than 500 career opportunities represented at the career fair. Participating employers will be 3M, Andersen Corporation, Boston Scientific, CHS, Inc., Endeavor Air, Fairview Health Services, General Dynamics, Keurig Dr Pepper, Lakeview Hospital, Mayo Clinic, Metropolitan Council, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Minnesota Urology, Parsons Corporation, Renewal by Andersen, Sun Country Airlines, UPS, and Viking Electric. The CareerForce Launch rollout includes business/employer consultation, CareerForce Washington County assistance, community resources/services, visits by community elected leaders, information on military veterans’ employment, and professional resume critique.
