In today's ever changing job market, student veterans are looking to differentiate themselves from other students. At the Annual Veteran Professional Networking/Resource Fair student attendees will be introduced to community partners that offer FREE resources to veterans, which include resume writing assistance, legal aid, housing, mentorship and many others.
Come network with prospective employers and resource providers, as well as attend breakout sessions, including a LinkedIn Workshop, a Job Readiness forum, STEM opportunities and take free professional headshots exclusively for student veterans in attendance. Additionally, representatives from both the CUNY Office of Graduate Admissions and CUNY Central Office of Financial Aid attend this event to discuss educational resources for undergraduate and graduate continuity.

1. Who should attend this event?
Student Veterans, Reservists, and dependents who are looking for information on employment/internships, mentorship, legal aid, housing, and health care/wellness should attend this event.
 
2. What should I bring to this event?
You should bring copies of your resume, business cards and portfolios for networking.
 
3. What should I wear to this event?
Professional business attire is appropriate for this event.
 
4. What if I have class?
Please contact the Veterans' Affairs representative on your campus for a complete contact list of employers who are at the event.
 
5. Which employers/resource will attend this event?
A host of employers and resources will be attending the 2018 Veterans' Professional Networking/Resource Fair such as Starbucks, The David Lynch Foundation, Up2Us Sports, Success Academies, NYPD, MTA, US Customs and Border Patrol, Montefiore Medical Center, The Department of Veterans' Services, Stand Beside Them and several others.
 
6.  I am a veteran but I don't attend a CUNY school, can I attend this event?
Yes!  The event is open to all veterans, active duty personnel, reservists, dependents.
