Let's Talk LD is again excited to produce its “Partners in Career Success (PiCS) Conference and Mini Job Fair,” a re-imagining of the traditional career planning and development conference specifically designed for young people with learning differences and/or who are on the Autism Spectrum. 
According to Understood.org, 
46 percent of working-age adults with LD report being employed, as compared to 71 percent of adults without LD;67 percent earned $25,000 or less per year within eight years of leaving high school;only 19 percent say their employers are aware that they have LD;only 5 percent have accommodations in the workplace.
The day’s PiCS program will take conference participants on a journey where they will explore, among other things, how to develop skills in SETTING CAREER GOALS, ACQUIRING AND IMPROVING RELEVANT JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE, ANALYZING CAREER TRENDS, NETWORKING, and REVIEWING AND UPDATING ONE'S RESUME.
