Job Description: RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE:
Retail Sales Associates (RSA) are responsible to professionally welcome prospective consumers as they enter the store and present possible solutions through product presentation enticing the shopper to become a buyer. Requires superior customer service skills and the ability to close sales transactions and process other merchandise related transactions according to company procedures.

The RSA is accountable for delivering exceptional in-store experience for every consumer and to follow ups with consumers to ensure total satisfaction. The RSA may be assigned zones to maintain following company standards of cleanliness and ensure that furniture and accessories are properly located, clean and in good condition. The RSA is expected to be professional at all times and perform all job duties in a positive manner· High school diploma or GED required; Associates in business administration or related degree preferred.·

Retail Sales experience preferred, but not required. Familiarity with furniture products and styles.· Exceptional relationship building skills.· Strong communication and listening skills.· Strong attention to detail, with ability to multitask and work independently.· Basic math and writing skills; basic computer and office software skills.· Other: friendly, enthusiastic and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.· Must successfully pass background check and drug screening· Experience and knowledge in furniture sales highly preferred·

The RSAs will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including Saturdays and/or Sundays. The number of hours will increase during specific events, holidays or blackout periods, or to meet other business needs. Regular attendance at the assigned store in accordance with these expectations is an essential function of the job and all job functions are performed at the designated job location.
