The Antelope Valley Veterans Employment Committee (AVVEC) will sponsor its 4th Annual Job & Resource Expo to employ hundreds of Veterans and non—veterans this year. The event will be hosted at the Chimbole Cultural Center in Palmdale on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event is giving priority to Veterans, but the public is welcome to come with the sole purpose of facilitating face-to-face meetings between those looking for employment and employers/business owners looking to fill vacancies.  Employers will be accepting applications, reviewing resumes and conducting interviews on site.
