SPE-OKC professional members – your Young Professionals Board is teaming up with SPE-OU to host a Resume review workshop for petroleum engineering students in the week leading up to the OU’s annual Engineering Career Fair, and we need your help.  The event will be for 1.5 hours on September 5th and the volunteers will be sittings with students to give them one-on-one feedback on their resumes, as well as advice on working the career fair and preparing for interviews.  In this challenging price environment, job opportunities are few and the competition is fierce. Consequently we are expecting a high turnout of students, so we can use all the help we can get.
Just as you were the beneficiary of those who went before you, there are many talented and hardworking students who could benefit from your experience.  Don’t miss this opportunity to forge your link in the generational knowledge chain.
The registration is free for volunteers and students and the event will be catered so there will be food and drink provided. Parking will be provided as well for the volunteers.
