The John Crain Kunkel Career Center of Penn State Harrisburg respectfully invites you and your member organizations to attend our first Diversity and Inclusion Networking Event, to be held at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Harrisburg International Airport on Tuesday, October 29 from 6:00pm -8:00pm.  This is a speed networking event that matches individuals by career interests and fields, it is essential that you and your employer members arrive no later than 5:45pm.
Originally created by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), a Diversity and Inclusion Networking Event (DINE) is an opportunity for various businesses, organizations and groups to professionally network with potential applicants and students from academic institutions.  This event is not considered a Job Fair as attendees would not be participating for the purpose of securing an interview, internship or job.  Instead, participants would be encouraged to attend for the purpose of mixing and mingling with like-minded professionals in their fields of interest. 
This catered event is a great opportunity for your Chambers of Commerce and your member organizations/businesses to mix, mingle and engage with our students from various disciplines and areas of interest.  Penn State Harrisburg comprises five academic schools including Behavioral Science and Education, Business Administration, Humanities, Public Affairs, and Science Engineering and Technology.  Attendees can expect to interact with undergraduate and graduate students in a relaxed atmosphere, while also promoting the importance of supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and talking about your unique professional experiences.  Registration will close by: August 16, 2019.
