REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to work any shift; week-ends; holidays
Valid Indiana driver's license with a driving record deemed insurable by the Zoo's insurer
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check
Able to meet the physical demands of the job:
• stand and walk for long periods of time;
• fast-walk or jog around our 64-acre campus;
• lift and carry 50 pounds; drag 100 pounds for a short distance;
• repeatedly climb ladders and steps.
Visual acuity and hearing levels necessary to perform the job qualifications
Effective verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED:
Past work experience in security, law enforcement, military or extensive customer service
