The Getaway Tampa Bay is excited to announce the May opening of its second location in the newly renovated Maximo Marina. The recent acquisition of Maximo by the world renown luxury marina operator IGY Marinas has created a great deal of buzz in the surrounding communities of Maximo Moorings, Gulf Port, Isle Del Sol and Saint Pete Beach.

After four years of growing success at its flagship Gandy location, The Getaway Tampa Bay is expanding its brand with The Getaway Maximo Marina. This second location, like the first, will offer over 7,500 square feet of outdoor and waterfront drinking and dining, boater access, island inspired signature cocktails, a surf and turf menu, a palatial landscape and unlike its Gandy property will boast an additional 1,500 square feet of gorgeous indoor dining.

In preparation for The Getaway's follow-up voyage into the restaurant industry they are hosting a three day job fair event at Maximo Marina on Monday, April 23rd through Wednesday, April 25th. Interviews will be held for Servers, Bartenders, Bar-Backs, Food Runners, Bussers, Line-Cooks, Prep-Cooks and Dishwashers beginning at 10am until 8pm on all three days at 3769 50th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, Florida 33711. All applicants should come with a photo ID and be prepared to interview with a hiring manager for an opportunity to be hired on the spot! Many entry level positions are available with no experience necessary and the potential for advancement is present with this growing brand in a thriving industry. There is flexibility in scheduling to support students, daily operating hours no later than 10:00pm and both part time and full time positions are available. New hires will begin training immediately at The Getaway Tampa Bay on Gandy Boulevard prior to orientation at Maximo Marina in early May.
