FAQs
How do I prepare for the event?
The district uses an on-line application process called EDJOIN, which is paperless.  EGUSD does not accept paper applications.  It allows applicants to submit one application for a position in EGUSD and update it or revise it for other positions that become available within the district.  To be considered for a position, all materials must be submitted through EDJOIN.
If you need assistance with the application process on EDJOIN, we will have computers and staff available at the classified job fair to assist you.
On the day of the job fair, come prepared to learn about available positions, how to navigate the EGUSD hiring process, and network with human resources professionals as well as key staff members from the departments looking to hire.  
What are my parking options at the event?
Parking at the job fair is free.  As spaces are limited, please plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your session time.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, a printed ticket is not necessary.  You will need to check in at the registration table when you arrive.
I am looking for a classified position that is not listed on EDJOIN.  Can I attend anyway?  
At this time we will only be holding sessions for the following positions: Special Education Paraeducators, Bus Drivers/Attendants, Custodial/Maintenance and Food Service workers. Please visit EDJOIN for a complete list of available classified positions.
